A Vintage Bathroom Gets a Modern Refresh We recently had the pleasure of renovating a vintage bathroom shower enclosure in a 100-year-old Wing Point home on Bainbridge Island. The goal was to create a space that was both modern and timeless while still respecting the home’s original character. We also installed new fixtures, including a rain head shower and a built-in bench. The shower door has a slow-closing mechanism, which helps prevent it from slamming shut. We also added a built-in bench to the shower, perfect for shaving or relaxing. The bench is made of the same tile as the rest of the shower, so it blends seamlessly with the design.

My bathroom has beautiful Art Deco components in the design, a heated floor, lighted mirror, XL shower in a very tight spot (a major coup!) in organic natural colors and textures. I purchased my home a little over a year ago and Nick has literally touched every part of my home. He brought a shed down to its studs, and turned the space into an office with all the necessary technology along with the look I wanted for the space. He has replaced custom cedar siding on my house, coordinated, supervised and constructed two additional custom storage spaces. One with complete climate control and other as a garden storage and work space.
